Constructed from premium mahogany, the exterior has been finished in a lighter lacquer stain, a classic period technique known as acajou blond, designed to give the rich hardwood a bright, sun-toned architectural feel, while the cabinet interior beautifully showcases the wood's original deep reddish-brown tone.
