A huge striking vintage Tricena floor lamp, attributed to Ingo Maurer for Design M, with a sculptural three petal shade arranged around a slender chrome column.

The lamp has incredible architectural presence, combining a white translucent shade with polished chrome detailing and a circular base. When lit, the shade gives a warm diffused glow, while the curved petal form creates a strong Space Age silhouette.

The shade appears to be moulded acrylic or plexiglass, with a chrome plated metal stem and base. 3 lampholders allowingg great light output.

Condition note

Lovely vintage condition with age related wear. Chrome shows visible patina in places. Shade shows light surface marks and wear consistent with age and use. Please refer to photographs. You will see there is some small damage to the plexiglass and is covered with tape. You cannot see this when the lamp has this side facing the wall and does not affect the beauty of this lamp. 

This vintage light is working, but has not been rewired, PAT tested or professionally safety checked. It must be inspected and installed by a qualified electrician before use.
