An elegant and highly sculptural pair of mid-century modern three-arm candelabras by Schneider. Crafted from substantial, heavy clear art glass, each piece features a striking organically pulled U-shaped silhouette that beautifully plays with light. The sweeping glass arms terminate in polished brass candle nozzles, providing a warm, refined contrast to the cool transparency of the crystal-clear glass body.

Schneider, also known as Le Verre Français, was a renowned French glassmaking company founded by Charles and Ernest Schneider in 1903. They specialized in Art Nouveau and Art Deco glass, producing exquisite pieces characterized by bold colors, innovative techniques like cameo carving and controlled crystallization, and distinctive designs.

Their candelabra, often made from thick, richly colored glass, are highly sought after by collectors. These pieces exemplify the Art Deco movement's emphasis on geometric forms, luxurious materials, and sophisticated craftsmanship, making them significant historical artifacts of decorative arts.

Excellent vintage condition. The heavy clear glass bodies are remarkably clean, free from chips, deep cracks, or significant scratching. The brass candle inserts show light, authentic signs of age-related patina and minor superficial oxidation which adds to their vintage character, but remain structurally sound and secure.

Vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition report.

Every piece at Milla Objets is vintage, and as such, each item carries its own history, so expect natural signs of age and wear. Please look through the images carefully for condition details.
