Pair of Large Mid-Century Faceted Glass Wall Sconces with Aged Brass Backplates
A substantial pair of vintage wall lights, each formed from heavy faceted glass panels mounted onto aged brass backplates. The glass has a sculptural, architectural quality, with deep geometric facets that catch and refract the light beautifully. The backplates show natural age-related oxidation and surface patina, one has aged more than the other which adds even more character.
They take 2 bayonet bulbs per sconce.
The scale is generous at approximately 38cm high, 24cm wide and 12cm deep.
Condition is vintage with signs of age and use, including tarnishing, oxidation to the metal plates and minor surface marks consistent with age. There is a very tiny minor chip to one sconce, hardly noticeable, but wanted to be honest. Please review all photographs carefully.
These vintage lights are working, but have not been rewired, PAT tested or professionally safety checked. They must be inspected and installed by a qualified electrician before use.
