A characterful vintage two-seater sofa upholstered in richly coloured striped velvet. 

The deep seat is framed by pleated rolled arms and rests on dark turned bun feet fitted with brass swivel castors. Classical proportions and theatrical colour make it equally suited to a drawing room, library or a more eclectic contemporary interior.

Condition

Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The velvet retains a rich colour and pile overall. There is a small seam separation or tear, approximately 1–2 cm, at the inner junction of one arm and the backrest, together with faint surface spotting on one arm. Some minor play in the drop arm mechanism as expected. The wooden frame is sturdy, and the seat remains supportive with springs in great condition. The turned feet show minor scuffs to the dark finish.

We want you to love every piece you bring home. If for any reason you're not completely happy, we'll accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original condition. We're happy to coordinate the return through our trusted courier. Please note that all associated shipping costs, including both outbound and return delivery, as well as any packaging, are the buyer's responsibility. If you have any questions about an item or would like additional photos before committing, please reach out. We'd much rather help you make the right decision upfront. Once your return has been received and inspected, refunds will be issued within 14 days.
