A beautiful example of mid-century architectural garden design: the large low bowl planter, designed by the iconic Swiss industrial modernist Willy Guhl for Eternit. This minimalist piece showcases Guhl’s ability to take industrial fibre cement and form it into perfectly balanced, functional outdoor sculpture.

This bowl has acquired a magnificent naturally aged patina across its shallow, wide-brimmed surface, with tonal variations, light mineral deposits and subtle weathering from decades of outdoor exposure.

 

Good vintage condition with exceptional natural weathering. The fibre cement structure remains solid and stable. Authentic surface wear, hairline surface texturing, light staining and minor nibbles around the rim are consistent with outdoor use from this period. Features original factory-drilled drainage holes at the centre base.

We want you to love every piece you bring home. If for any reason you're not completely happy, we'll accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is returned in its original condition. We're happy to coordinate the return through our trusted courier. Please note that all associated shipping costs, including both outbound and return delivery, as well as any packaging, are the buyer's responsibility. If you have any questions about an item or would like additional photos before committing, please reach out. We'd much rather help you make the right decision upfront. Once your return has been received and inspected, refunds will be issued within 14 days.
