Vintage Mid-Century Barovier & Toso Murano Glass and Brass Pendant Light

An exceptional mid-century Italian pendant light designed and produced by the prestigious Venetian glasshouse Barovier & Toso. Crafted in Murano during the 1950s, this exquisite fixture features heavy, hand-blown clear glass elements mounted on a patinated brass frame. The design centres around a deeply fluted, scalloped glass bowl that holds a single light source.

Encasing the central bowl are three dramatic, sculptural glass scrolls stylised as organic leaves. These prominent glass components feature an intricately ribbed, textured pattern, characteristic of Ercole Barovier’s iconic mid-century mastery, which masterfully catches and refracts the light.

Suspended from a clean brass stem and finished with a delicate, petal-scalloped ceiling canopy. Details

Delivery charges are shown at checkout for eligible UK addresses.

Objects and small stools are delivered for £9.99 throughout the UK. Standard furniture is delivered by a trusted courier for £50 within our London delivery area or £75 elsewhere in England.

Due to their fragile and often irreplaceable nature, lighting pieces are delivered by a dedicated furniture or art courier rather than an ordinary parcel service. Courier delivery is £50 within our London delivery area or £75 elsewhere in England.

Large, heavy, multi-piece, stone, substantial glass and specialist pieces require an individual delivery quote. Please contact us with the item and delivery postcode before purchasing.

For furniture and lighting delivery to Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands, Europe and international destinations, please contact us before purchasing for a delivery quote.

Courier deliveries are usually completed within 7–14 days. We will contact you after purchase to arrange a suitable date. Please tell us about stairs, restricted access, parking restrictions or any assistance required, as these may affect delivery.

We hope you are delighted with your purchase. If you are a UK consumer buying online, you may cancel most orders by contacting info@milladecor.com within 14 days after the day you receive the item. After notifying us, the item must be returned within a further 14 days and kept in the condition in which it was received, allowing for reasonable inspection.

Unless an item is faulty or not as described, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it. Many furniture pieces cannot be returned by ordinary post. Return-courier costs are generally in the same range as the delivery charge shown at checkout, although access, distance, packing and specialist handling can change the amount. We can help arrange a trusted courier and will confirm the cost before collection.

We will issue the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or receiving evidence that it has been sent back. The refund will include the item price and the cost of our least-expensive standard outbound delivery option. We may reduce the refund if handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item causes a loss in value.
